The Thurzo House Museum

The Thurzo House Museum

The Thurzo House Museum in Banská Bystrica has embraced digital transformation by implementing a modern interactive kiosk system, fully powered by the Total.js Platform. The Thurzo House Museum is a very popular and much visited museum.

The museum utilizes several Linux-based tablets placed throughout different rooms, each dedicated to a unique historical theme. These kiosks provide visitors with engaging content and historical insights, enriched through an intuitive and responsive user interface built using Total.js UI components and web server technologies.

One of the key advantages of the solution is the centralized content management system, allowing museum staff to update and manage all tablet content from a single administration interface-efficiently and in real time.

To optimize energy usage, tablets are configured to automatically power on and off during specific hours. This intelligent power saving feature is seamlessly integrated with the Total.js Platform.

By merging history with modern technology, the museum has created a bridge between the past and the present. We're proud that Total.js technologies play a part in preserving cultural heritage while enhancing visitor experience through interactivity and innovation.
